Last updated: 8 October 2026. These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of https://www.mycal.com.my (the “Website”) and to the calibration, instrument supply, and repair and maintenance services provided by MyCal (“MyCal”, “we”, “us”). By using the Website or engaging us, you agree to these terms. Specific terms in a signed quotation, order or agreement take priority over these general terms.

1. Our services

MyCal provides calibration of measuring and weighing instruments (in-house at our facility or on-site at your premises), supply of measuring and weighing instruments, and repair and maintenance of instruments. Information on the Website is general and does not by itself form an offer or a contract.

2. Quotations and orders

A quotation is based on the information you give us about your instruments and requirements. If the information is incomplete or changes, we may revise the quotation. An order is confirmed only when both parties have agreed the scope in writing (including by WhatsApp or email). Prices, lead times and validity are as stated in each quotation.

3. Your responsibilities

  • give us accurate information about the instruments, their condition and any known faults or hazards;
  • make sure instruments are safe to handle, and clean and free of hazardous residue before they are delivered to us or serviced on-site;
  • provide safe access, power and a suitable environment where on-site work is required;
  • decide how often your instruments should be calibrated, according to your own quality and regulatory requirements.

4. Calibration

Calibration results apply to the instrument as received, at the time and under the conditions it was calibrated. We do not guarantee how the instrument will perform afterwards, or that it will remain within tolerance until your next calibration. If an instrument cannot be calibrated, or is found to be out of tolerance, we will tell you and discuss the options, which may include adjustment, repair or replacement.

5. Products supplied

Products are supplied subject to availability. Specifications, appearance and lead times may change without notice. Please check the product details in your quotation before ordering.

6. Repair and maintenance

We will diagnose the fault and advise you before carrying out work beyond the agreed scope. Some instruments cannot be economically repaired or restored to their original condition, and we do not guarantee that every instrument can be repaired. Parts removed during repair may be disposed of unless you ask for them to be returned.

7. Payment

Payment terms are stated in the quotation or invoice. We may withhold the return of instruments until payment is received, and may charge reasonable fees for instruments that are not collected within a reasonable time after we notify you that work is complete.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, MyCal is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of production, profit or business, arising from the use of the Website or our services. Our total liability for any claim relating to a service is limited to the amount you paid us for that service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Website use and intellectual property

The content on the Website, including text, images and logos, belongs to MyCal or its licensors. You may view and share pages for your own business purposes, but you may not copy, modify or republish the content for commercial use without our written permission. Please do not misuse the Website or attempt to disrupt its operation.

10. Privacy

How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these terms from time to time; the latest version is always on this page. Questions about these terms? Contact us at info@mycal.com.my or WhatsApp 011-1558 5662.
